The small fibre optic star kit is the perfect way to transform a child’s bedroom or nursery into a magical place. This stunning kit uses fibre optics of different diameters to produce a "near and far" effect that complements bedrooms, bathrooms, showers, saunas, bed boards, floors and even fabrics such as curtains. The Small Star Kit features 112 points of light, is simple to install and very safe – no electricity or heat is emitted by the fibre optic tails which can easily be cut to size. The colour wheel/twinkle wheel can also be removed for white light only. Requiring little maintenance, 1 bulb lasts up to 3000 hours.

35w tungsten halogen light source (181mm long, 100mm high, 105mm wide) with colour wheel/ twinkle wheel feeding 112 tail harness with a mix of 0.75mm and 1.0mm diameter polymer fibre optic tails. Customised colour wheels available. Kit comes complete with acrylic bullet lenses and silk screen washers (As shown). Tails can have lenses fitted or be left bare, lenses give a larger light and most people use this option when fitting the kit. Drill size needed for lenses option is 3mm without lenses 1mm.

Consisting of mixed diameter fibre for a 'near + far' effect, each fibre optic star kit comes with small acrylic fittings for a neat finish in the ceiling or chosen material. Unlike other systems on the market, these fittings allow for the fibre to pass all the way through, maintaining the preferred intense star effect achieved when the fibre end is exposed while covering up any ragged edges from the drill hole. Alternatively drill 1mm holes in the ceiling and just use the fibres on their own for an intense point of light.
