FIBRE OPTIC KIT CONTENTS
Jacksons offers two types of sensory lighting kits - colour changing and ultra violet. The harnesses in both kit types are made from polymer fibre and as with all of our fibre optic kits are safe to touch as no electricity or heat is transmitted through the fibre. The colour change property of these sensory lighting kits stimulates the minds of young children and helps in identifying different colours and has also been found to be beneficial for children of any age with learning difficulties. The fibre optic side glow in these sensory lighting kits is also frequently used as decoration in the home or in commercial properties such as cafes, bars and restaurants.

75W tungsten halogen lightsource with 2 plugs. One powers
the lamp whilst the other switches the colourwheel on or off. |
 A six segment colourwheel is supplied. This is pre-installed in the lightsource and can be left to rotate continuously or can be stopped on any colour to give static light output. |
 Tails are all polymer fibre and are safely covered in a clear protective sheath. |

UV sensory kits
These UV sidesparkle kits consist of cracked polymer fibres in UV reactive sheathing. Up to 8 different colours of tails can be incorporated into one harness. Like all our fibre optic lighting products, these UV sidesparkle kits are completely safe to touch, as there is no electricity carried through the fibre tails. The effect provided by these kits is different to that given by the standard sidesparkle kits. The tails do not change colour, but by utilising the shimmer wheel which is supplied as standard, a stunning sparkling effect is achieved - even without the use of UV light. Under Ultra Violet black light, which is increasingly being used in treatment and play rooms in hospitals and schools, the tails also glow dramatically. Now people of all ages can enjoy the sideglow benefits in the comfort of their own home.
