Technical features of a Eureka telescopic swimming pool building UKEureka retractable telescopic swimming pool covers are manufactured from aluminium alloy AIMgSi Group 6060T6. A wide range of extrusions
available to safely span up to 28 metres in width and practically any length - the biggest
up to now is 60 metres. External Finish Powdered polyester, coated strongly by electrostatic multi-layered spraying to give a smooth appearance in up to 180 colours.
150 times stronger than glass. LEXANŽ
THERMOCLEARŽ DRIPGUARDŽ Manufactured by General Electric Plastics in a double wall
cellular structure to ensure minimum loss of natural heat gained during the day. 6mm
thickness gives optimum coefficient for temperature increase due to the greenhouse effect.
It is treated to reduce the formation of water droplets due to condensation and also
treated against the suns UVA rays to help keep your swimming pool free from any heavy
growth of algae or mould. LEXANŽ is virtually unbreakable. Side Walls Crystal clear tough Polymethyl Methacrylate
(PLEXIGLASS) is much safer than any other form of glazing and easy to maintain. Weatherproofing Anstatic Synthetic fibre sealing brushes
used throughout the building keep out the wind, dust, leaves, snow and rain to give you a
nice indoor feeling. Rollers, Guides and joining elements To enable easy, smooth opening and closing,
a no-track/rail free system is used, giving a much safer ground surface when opened up. 4
pairs of large diameter nylon wheels, mounted on stainless steel spindles inside stainless
steel sealed roller bearings, ensure this easy operation. Is achieved with stainless steel quick
release fixations, requiring minimum effort to attach and detach whenever necessary. Back ends of Eureka retractable telescopic swimming pool covers Can either be fixed or removable in 1,2,3,4 or 5 pieces. Front ends of buildings Can be removable in 1,2,3,4 or 5 pieces or a tiltable front panel, counterbalanced (like an up and over garage door) can be fitted which allows lots of ventilation for summer use, but also allows the whole of the building to be opened back without obstruction. Foundation requirements Eureka Telescopic Pool buildings are made to a very large structural safety margin, but do not require deep foundations. The existing pool patio usually suffices (provided it is relatively smooth), but ideally a 10cm concrete base enables the winterising tie down bolts to be properly anchored. We can suggest during the site visit if some ground work is advisable. Building control Eureka buildings comply with Building Regulations for planning purposes, in respect of wind and snow loading and also fire resistance of the roof. Planning permission (not normally required) Eureka Telescopic Pool Buildings satisfy the permitted development rules but Eureka Directors can advise if planning permission is necessary and if required will offer their services in submitting a planning application to the local authority and gaining approval. New swimming pools to be built Eureka Directors liaise with good quality swimming pool builders throughout the UK and Ireland to ensure smooth progression of planning, designing, building and finishing off your complete pool and telescopic building projects. Terms of business Should the building not be required for several months only 10% initial payment is required to progress your order and freeze your price. 40% payment in total is needed some 6 weeks prior to the required installation date. 60% balance is then due on completion of your installation.
