WeatherproofUV-Lite provides the ultimate protection from the rain. Silicone water repellent coating on top side - repels water better than a ducks back. PU coated, hot taped under side with hydrostatic head of 3500mm. Unlike Polyester, adhesion of coatings on Nylon fabrics is far greater, meaning Nylon fabrics are far less likely to delaminate UV ResistantSilicone treated Nylon provides an exceptional defence against harmful UV rays. After prolonged UV exposure UV-Lite retains more of it's original strength than PolyesterIdeal strength to weight ratio - UV-Lite is constructed from rip-stop 70 denier Nylon fabric to give a perfect balance between strength and weight. It has a higher strength to weight ratio than Polyester, and under stress will have lower elongation and a greater percentage recovery. Nylon is five times more abrasion resistant than Polyester STRONGInnovative DAC Featherlite alloy poles provide the best strength to weight ratio currently available, 20% lighter on average and 10% stronger than other leading alloy poles. Featherlite poles are heat treated to T6 temper, which results in the aluminium being more tractable. The aluminium alloy used in Featherlite poles is recognised by the aerospace industry worldwide.
